Surrogacy can cost anywhere from a $100,000 to $200,000 in total. We know and understand that this is a very expensive process that requires some form of preparation on all fronts including self-care. Before you begin your journey, we want you to know that we understand your path and we are here to help make this process as smooth as possible. To come to this decision takes tremendous courage, financial risk and effort, all in the hopes that your family will grow with surrogacy.
We at A Perfect Gift aim to be very hands-on with your process: from finding your surrogate, doing medical clearances, psychological evaluations, providing support in drafting legal contracts, setting up your escrow account, and, working with fertility specialists so that you do not have to worry.
We have been in your shoes as Intended Parents and have felt a bit more exhausted and excited at the same time about the possibilities ahead. We were both physically and mentally exhausted during the journey, due to several factors including a very detailed travelling and delivery planning we had to do because of the pandemic. Also, just dealing with the anticipation of going through the journey was exhausting.
We certainly did not take enough time outs we needed for ourselves during this process and as a result felt a bit more exhausted, whilst, at the same time, feeling excited about our baby by the time she arrived. We therefore cannot stress enough that during this time, we need you to practice a lot of self care.
