Hello, my name is Jane Akua Ankrah
I am a fertility advocate who is passionate about the following;
- Educating people about infertility with the aim to de-stigmatize people’s approach and thoughts on infertility.
- Helping people realize their dreams of being parents in whichever form they choose.
- Educating women & men to advocate for themselves.
- Advocating for infertility causes such as insurance coverage.
Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) has been the key to how my spouse and I got our two lovely girls. My husband and I dealt with unexplained infertility for over ten years of our marriage. After three fibroid surgeries in eleven months and a successful In-Vitro Fertilization Frozen Embryo Transfer (IVF FET)), we were blessed with our first perfect gift, our daughter, Blair fourteen years later. Further infertility complications made it impossible for me to carry again.
In 2019, we found our wonderful Gestational Carrier (GC), Theresah Banful to help us give our daughter Blair a sibling. In January 2021, our second daughter Sloane was born.
I am also a mum to our schnoodle (dog) son Buddy Ankrah, who will always be my first child. Buddy is a very integral part of our family as his presence in our home during our journey helped soothe the ache we felt whilst we waited.
My emotional journey through fibroids, pregnancy and surrogacy to complete my family fueled my passion to help others who want to achieve their dreams of the perfect gift.
My successful pregnancy through my initial ability to carry my first born Blair via In-Vitro Fertilization(IVF) and adding my second daughter Sloane to our growing family via Surrogacy drives my goals to help as many families as I can through the agency and our foundation.
Being a small boutique agency, I will personally be involved in every journey hence the reason why I prefer to have a very limited client base.
Part of the proceeds from the agency will be used to support the foundation.

I am the surrogacy coordinator for A Perfect Gift Surrogacy Agency. I am in charge of the surrogate selection process and with our thorough screening, we will help you find the surrogate that can help you grow your family.
I got into surrogacy as I wanted other parents to experience the joy of having their own children like I did. To me, a successful surrogacy journey requires an individual to have a servant’s heart as you are helping a family realize their dreams. I enjoy being pregnant. After a beautiful and smooth pregnancy with my own child, I have had multiple successful surrogacy pregnancies and knew I could be part of a bigger cause. My cause is to be part of this amazing team that makes families whole, through surrogacy.
There are women out there who would love to help you get your perfect gift. We will work together with fertility specialists, counsellors, psychologists, lawyers and birth specialists to help ensure you get your baby safe and sound.

We at A Perfect Gift Surrogacy Agency understand that families go through a lot to reach a place where surrogacy is a choice they can make. This emotional, financial and personal journey can be exhausting and yet fulfilling when you have someone to hold your hand through the vigorous and strenuous process.

We also offer donor sperm and egg services as well as peer support.
As a minority owned agency, we understand and have personally experienced the lack of representation in the fertility industry. One of our goals here at A Perfect Gift is to drive awareness for more donors to be motivated and included on the donor registry to help fill in the gap for families that need those options.

Everyone desiring to have a family, deserves one. We believe that having a family is one’s basic human right and therefore anyone seeking is entitled to it.
Cost should not be a barrier to having a family. As an agency, we try to bring down the cost of having a family by ensuring that our fees are reasonable. We also help advocate for health insurance coverage amongst other pro family policies through our foundation.
Every child deserves love and a happy home. Having a couple or an individual go through this physical, financial and emotional rigorous process of having a child, tells us how much they really want a child and it is therefore our belief that as parents you will do anything to give the child a loving and a happy home. As Intended Parents ourselves we recognize that making this huge commitment of using a surrogate is a sacrifice.
