I got to know of Jane shortly after she had her first daughter. Through conversations I realized that we had similar infertility issues. I have learned a lot from Jane's experience especially in the area of surrogacy. Jane provided me with helpful links for financial support and websites to find gestational carriers. She is always available to give emotional support as well. I highly recommend Jane as she is very knowledgeable in this area and has ample amount of resources to share.

Akua is such a gem and a literal warm hug on this very difficult journey. Her experience and background makes her one of the few who understands and hear what I am going through as she has been there herself. She has knowledge on procedures and resources that makes me feel less out of control throughout the journey to starting a family. I really appreciate her and love her hands-on approach.

Though we have never physically met, Jane has shared her experiences and proffered solutions or shared pointers to whatever questions I have on this journey. She is also willing to help in whatever capacity i need. I remember going to see my doctor and felt very confident that, even my doctor noticed and commented on how impressed he was with me with regards to my knowledge on the process and surrogacy. I just told him that I have a very great support system and one of which is Jane, who has been holding my hands and also willing to share with me whatever information I may need. Before I even research things on my own, Jane has already told me about it and I am so grateful for her and her kind gesture and I know she helps many other families going through this journey. She helps a lot of women going through IVF and Surrogacy, she is not shy to tell her story, which has inspired a lot of women including myself and has also been working with women going through Surrogacy.

I consulted several gynecologists and specialists and trying-to-conceive blogs became an addiction. Not before long, I knew all the acronyms used by the community. When I first spoke to Jane, I was about to embark on a medicated IUI cycle. I was hesitant to open up, but her friendly and reassuring tone encouraged me, and to cut a long story short, I now consider her to be not only my go-to when it comes to anything fertility related, but a true and trusted sister. I had the support of family, who had no idea what I was going through. I had the support of my husband, who tried his best to understand what I was going through. I had my blogs, but I had no personal connection to any of the women. It was Jane, who had been through a similar experience and understood my cautious hope, my wavering faith and my quiet despair who held my hands, listened to me, prayed with me and answered the questions no one else could answer. She made this journey less lonely and stood with me until I got my BFP!
